What is MM Design?

MM Design is a top of the line design and tailoring service.  In France, a professional combining these two skills is known as a “couturier.”  Michaell Lynn, who is at the helm of this service, first picked up a needle and thread at the age of six making her doll’s clothes and then her own wardrobe.  She was educated at both Parson’s School of Design and La Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne.  From there she went on to work for several prestigious French couture houses such as Yves Saint Laurent, Christian Lacroix, and John Galliano, working with la crème de la crème in the Parisian design studios and ateliers(workshops) of the haute couture.  There she was mentored by the masters of the trade and learned what true “haute couture” really is.  Quality and elegance are the hallmarks of Michaell’s creations.  Exceptional tailoring and workmanship distinguish her work.

Over the course of 17 years in Paris, Michaell built her reputation among the storied fashion houses of Givenchy and Dior as an astonishingly talented and efficient wunderkind.  Today Michaell’s greatest pleasure comes from working with her clients one on one. With the skilled hands of an expert tailor along with an artist’s eye and high taste level, Michaell’s work is refined and feminine. She makes every client look their very best through carefully adapted personal design and optimum fit.
